ONE Championship returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 19 with a star-studded lineup as ONE Friday Fights 137 goes down live in Asia primetime.
This event features an international cast of world-class athletes competing under Muay Thai and kickboxing rules — many of whom will be battling for a life-changing US$100,000 contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization.
In the main event, ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai makes his kickboxing return against highly touted Chinese star Liu Mengyang in a featherweight showdown. Already holding World Championship gold in Muay Thai, Tawanchai looks to move one step closer to two-sport glory with a statement victory over the dangerous Liu.
Before that, Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai meets PTT Apichart Farm in bantamweight Muay Thai action. The matchup pits two elite Thai strikers with championship pedigree in a battle that could shake up the division’s landscape.
In another stellar bout, Suablack Tor Pran49 faces five-time Muay Thai World Champion Pakorn PK Saenchai in bantamweight Muay Thai competition. After rebounding from a rough three-fight skid with back-to-back victories, Suablack looks to make it three straight against Pakorn, who has shown mixed results in his ONE Friday Fights appearances but remains dangerous with over 250 professional fights under his belt.
International matchups abound as Japan’s undefeated phenom Shimon meets Thailand’s Road to ONE winner Dedduanglek TDed99 in flyweight Muay Thai action, while knockout artists Gingsanglek Wor Kumchamnarn and Suriyanlek Por Yenying collide in another flyweight battle.
The card also features former ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao facing Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi, along with Canada’s Regan Gowing making her ONE debut against Thailand’s Duangdawnoi Looksaikongdin in atomweight Muay Thai.
A featherweight Kickboxing bout between current ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai P.K.Saenchai and Liu Mengyang will be headlining the event.
