LFA 214: Fernando vs. Latu, takes place Friday, August 15th at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The main event will feature a clash between former LFA middleweight champion Lucas Fernando and DWCS veteran Phillip Latu for the vacant light heavyweight world title.
“Sioux Falls has been one of our most consistent and passionate markets, and LFA 214 will bring another memorable night to the fans in South Dakota,” said Soares. “Lucas Fernando is moving up in weight to attempt at becoming a two-division LFA champion. He will face a dangerous Dana White Contender Series veteran in Phillip Latu. Our Middleweight division has a rich history in producing top talent. Each of our former champs have received the call up once claiming the belt. I expect no difference when these 2 undefeated prospects face off for our vacant championship. It’s these types of high-stakes matchups that defines our brand and our history in the region.”
